another way to use blender with terragen

i was making some backgrounds in terragen, so i could play with ang mapping some more, when i noticed there was an import surface feature. when i tried to import a bmp i found that it needed to be in raw format, and apparently the preffered dimensions are 257 x 257. so i made a render of a clouds/voroniF1 texture in blender, converted it in photoshop to raw, had some minor difficulties, but without too much trouble was able to open an 8 bit 257x257 .raw file as a surface map and got some rEEally cool renders from them. so i think i will try some other interesting blender textures and see what they do. i also had some success stiching together some huge terragen renders into a yet more huge one, but don’t tell ssshhhh!!! :o
