Hey, I was playing with modelling recently and came up with something like this
Rendered in internal, I painted textures in glsl and didn’t have willpower to reassign them in cycles hehe Sculpted in zbrush and rest made in blender along with retopo
I like the insect and its animation but IMHO you should add a bit more bump mapping in the bark. Here is a reference picture
