The screen was created by Alex Treviño 20, based on a concept by Anaïs Maamar.
The splash screen has a lot of details and my intent is to recreate some of these details and add new ones to transport the scene into a different dimension.
The new dimension is a futuristic one with more robots than humans. The junkyard becomes a nostalgic place for humans & low-tech robots while still remaining a supply shop.
The new elements are:
The girl is replaced by a robot
The junkyard shop becomes an antique store,
The girl & low-tech robots are milling about the shop,
Main robots are going about their business,
Security bots are hovering about.
Backdrop is industrial/cityscape environment.
Notes:
I will create all models used in the scene,
Textures will be from free sources that I will list once finished,
These are recreation from those on the 2.8.3 splash screen. The arms didn’t turn out the way I wanted so they were be changed as the more elements and details were added to the scene.

At the very least, upload your work to Sketchfab as soon as possible and add the #bcon22challenge tag.
It’s also a good idea to add a link to your WIP topic in the description of your Sketchfab model so we can easily find it.
I’ll also keep a close eye on the FAQ topic today, so if you have any issues or questions please post it there as soon as possible.
