UV straightening of quad strips in Blender currently involves too many steps. Unwrap the regular way, then pick one quad, straighten all 4 sides manually using scaling, then go to 3d window (for some reason it is there) to use UV-Follow Active Quads. Huge time sink if you are using techniques analogous to Trim Sheets. What addon can perform the same operation less painfully?
