i’m just curriouse if there is anyone else from New Zealand here i know there are a few australians around so i figure some of you aussies came from kiwi land or there are some other new zealanders around

Yep I’m from Auckland. There was a user called “nzrevenge” about a while back from Christchurch, and I have been in contact with “miffwhite” who is still active at elysiun (I think he’s from “up North” from memory).
I’m a hobbyiest who spends too much time browsing this site, and not enough time blending. I have to compete with my two kids for access to the computer though so that does not help. 
A scan of the “location” column in the user list may turn up a few more. Good to meet another Kiwi!

Juding by my name you’d probably think im pretty proud to be a Kiwi … kinda :P.
Unlike others i have to battle my brothers for the internet which i normally use for gaming, but i have found that gaming doesn’t get you anywhere, so i usually try to create something in Blender while listning to some music.
The only problem im finding is Blender takes a while to get good and takes time to make a decent model (for me).
Thankfully when i look at the experianced Blenders out there it gives me tonnes of insperation to keep on trying.
Anyway im babbling- nice knowing who is from Nz

I’ve been trying to set up a meeting with Alltaken but our hectic schedules haven’t as yet allowed for it. Maybe we can set up the first official BUG (Blender Users Group)? We could call it WellyBUG!
