whoa…totally awesome dude…thanks…
edit:file size is a bit bigg eh?i want sumthin compact so i can store it on my flash disk witout using too much space…keep em comin…

No clue on Windows. Everything on Linux is free! If the files are small enough maybe you could upload one and I’ll see if I can convert it – though it wouldn’t be in WMV. What else can Windoze Movie Breaker take as file types?

ah nevermind the software flurp recommended worked pretty well so ill jus use that…
oh BTW its called windows movie maker…:stuck_out_tongue:
thanks for the help anywayz…

For future reference, FFMPEG will convert just about anything to just about anything else.

So far, I have found that SuperC is very good. I use it all the time and never had any problems with it.

+1 on recommendations for it

I could never get Super to work right but, MediaCoder has worked for everything I’ve thrown at it.

www.virtualdub.org

umm isnt that for screen capture only??

I know a few good ones for Mac

As for Windows, no idea.

Linux. FFMPEG. Heh.

What would those be?

RAD video tools feels a little flaky, but I’ve had lots of luck with it so far. Virtual dub is also very handy. These two tools plus a stable build of Blender with FFMPEG should handle just about anything…

Super is basically lots of different encoders put together with a nifty, easy to use UI.
its the best there is, tbh.
