Any idea on how this shader may have been made?

Any idea on how this shader may have been made? I have already tried asking the creator but it look like they don’t want to respond :confused:


It’s honestly quite simple- handpainted textures form the base. Simple cel-shading is added (most likely painted on, rather than being real shading). A slight blur is added - you can do this in the compositor with a Blur node. Then, a slight displacement is added with a brushstroke texture- you can do this in the Compositor with a Displace node and a texture. Lastly, a watercolor paper texture is overlaid; use a Mix node set to Overlay in the Compositor, and a watercolor paper texture
