it could be the texture isnt seamless.
what does your ground topology look like?
The ground object may be set to flat shading. You can find the smooth/flat shading setting in the Tool Shelf, under the Edit header. Try switching between the two options with a viewport preview-render going.
Share the ground object (possibly clipped), ground material, and the lighting (or lighting substitute that still causes issues).
No character needed (which is great btw - can see the story - "how come you have three eyes :D)
The ground texture is procedurally generated and seamless when I turned off the reflection it fixed it.
