Any ideas how to improve on this goo / vien shader?

I’m trying to create a type of goo shader, to give the effect of two items pulled apart showing connected tissue /goo. Think of chewing gum stuck to a surface and stretches when you pull it. Here’s where I’ve got to with a lot of guess work. I quite like it, but I would like it to be a bit sharper in areas, so the strands are a bit clearer. Any thoughts, or even a different approach? I’ve attached the file, sorry its big I don’t know how to reduce it!

Didn’t do much to get to this. my internet upload rate is bollocks tho so you gotta copy from the pic i you want it :confused:
