Any ideas to stop this face from twisting? I tried weight painting it already


You’ll see that the highlighted face(Purple outline) doesn’t retain its shape when I begin to move it. The Vertices begin to stretch altering the shape instead of rotating with the bone 1:1. Any idea how to fix this?

While the weight for the bone you want to deform this part of the mesh is correct (1, or totally red) , there is probably a bone somewhere where this face is… not 0 or totally blue. This means that while the correct bone is pulling it entirely correctly in one direction, there’s another bone pulling it in another direction. You’ve not got that many bones, so you should be able to find it.

Now that I think about it. It makes so much sense. Ill do that fix today! Thanks so much. I feel like a fool for missing that!
