Are there any tutorials around that tell you how to disintegrate objects or even just the principle techniques behind it?

You could try fluids.
Or create shapekeys of different stages of disintegration and have blender morph from one to the next.
Imagine a brick wall being blown to dust. Eroding very quickly, with the dust follwing eddies of the wind. I’m ok with the idea and principles on how to go about faking the dust being volumetric and following wind etc, but its the brick wall being eroded into this dust that im stuck on
