any PHP gurus ?

Hello mates , i have this game board , ladder board …
press [[ here ]] to show the scoreboard …

the tutorial i applied is here
http://gallery.hiddenworlds.org/?action=page&aid=11

what i want is , show the showscores.php results in a more stylized page

my site qemum.org is a drupal site , can i implement it in drupal ? , how ??

i need help , thanks people …

You can mix regular HTML and PHP. You can create the layout with HTML and then add the needed PHP codes in the mix.

Here’s a simple tutorial of how to do that: http://oreilly.com/pub/a/php/2001/05/03/php_foundations.html

i tried embedding in this template , the red one …
http://www.2createawebsite.com/build/templates.html
but i failed !!
http://qemum.org/scores/try1.htm

i followed the tutorial with no use :frowning:

thanks :slight_smile:

i don’t know which drupal modules you are using… but you seem to have some blocks in your front page on the left… so i suggest you create a new block and put your custom php code into it. that way you can then place it anywhere on the site…

this didn’t work !! :frowning: , it displayed it as text !! , i tried all input methods filtered html and the other , no use !!

maybe it’s a permission thing, or maybe you have disabled code blocks somewhere on site settings.

basse , you are right !!! , thanks !!! , you can see the score at the site bottom !!!

can you help me please integrate it with the PHPBB forum too …

thanks again .

edit : i removed the scores from the front page and will make a page for it …

edit 2 : the page that shows the scores is [here]

Look at the code below. In the lines labeled as output, you just have to add a class and then in your theme’s .css file, you can set up the look.
IOW, <h2 class=“myClassThatMakesTheHeaderLookBetter”>Highscores</h2>

$output = “<h2>Highscores</h2>”;
//create a table for holding the scores
$output .= “<table><tr><th>Ranking</th><th>Name</th><th>Score</th></tr>”;
//a variable to keep track of what rank we’re up to
$rank = 1;
//loop until we have all the records returned from the query
while($record = mysql_fetch_assoc($qid)) {
//add this record to the output
$output .= ‘<tr><td>’ . $rank . ‘</td><td>’ . $record[‘user’] . ‘</td><td>’ .
