Any recommended magazines about 3d?

Any recommended magazines about 3d? I don’t know how many there are out there; the only one I’ve seen is 3D World. (www.3dworldmag.com) Does anybody know of any other good ones?

for 3d, i think you’ve found the best one… for cg in general, there is “Computer Arts”…

I read Blenderart magazine. It’s pretty cheap (free) and they publish it a couple of times each year. Take a look at http://blenderart.org/ .

The internet magazine has a lot of crud in it. I wish it had less ads.

Well yes, there is blenderart mag. But I was thinking cg in general – you know, for a look into the 3d world outside the blender community:eyebrowlift:. I’ve never heard of “computer arts” though… will check it out. Does anybody get 3d world by the way? And is there anything relevant to blender?

I looked at it before but found the cost prohibitive. ($20.00 an issue!! $-( )

there’s 3dcreative magazine http://www.3dcreativemag.com/. It’s also a PDF magazine, but it’s nowhere as good or unique as BlenderArt Magazine http://blenderart.org. To be honest, BlenderArt magazine is probably the best magazine u will ever set ur eyes on again…EVER!!

Yeah… I’ve done some more research and it seems that BlenderArt Magazine seems to be the best. Well, what can I say? Open source rules.:smiley:

I found the blendermag today and it looks good.

I saw some of the early issues, and there wasn’t much content. I just checked out the car modeling one though. Woah. That’s awesome. 71 pages!!
