any tool to check the BLEND file?

I have a bad internet connection, most of the files that I downloaded are shorter than what they should be. I dont’t like to “open-close-open next” in Blender, so is there a (console) tool that can check the blend file for completeness?
thank you.

maybe a download manager could solve your problems

A console tool like simply running blender from the command line?

I think he’s looking for a tool that will verify the integrity of a blend file. If Blender itself is able to perform this trick (alot of programs have the ability to detect if a proprietory format is intact) … then the file has a structure (beginning, middle, end, and some kind of checksum maybe for the data structures) that can be checked. This question might better be made to the Blender gods.
