Any word on Open Subdiv support yet? Blender gets it and the Dev's will get my CASH!

Really need this feature soon, Integrated into my game engine but need it in Blender as Building a custom Blender build as my engine’s level editor. Cheers

I don’t really get what’s so great about OpenSubdiv, anyway. It’s nice to get high catmull-clark subdivision levels faster, but unless you need absolutely perfect accuracy, you don’t need it (and it’s too slow for games). Otherwise, you can just use simple phong tesselation to get the necessary detail level for displacement maps.
