Anya - Original Character

HI all,

This is another do-over of a character from my book – Anya.

As before with my Kara model, pretty much everything is new, apart from her top, neckless and earings, which I repurposed from the old version. Sculpt, textures, hair etc… are all new.

I did use a general reference for this one, and though it wasn’t a full on likeness study, I think the actress I used sneaks through just a little. So if you can guess who I used as reference, you get a :cookie:

.

I hope you like her!

:x: EHHH! Wrong answer, thanks for playing :joy: :joy:

I can kinda see it, though.

LOL…I’m very stupid…you’ve already given me the biggest possible clue … I’m blind

Anyway…after a while…I’ve reminded something more detailed and I was checking the title of the TV series and I was right…then I’ve opened the wiki page of the actress and after I’ve read her name…LOL…I was laughing very much…

From the clay render I’d say Hannah Simone. With the bald head she looks more like Sarah Shahi. And I hope its a real cookie.

Very beautiful! Is there any chance you will complete the main cast of your book?
It’s not her, but my first thought is the beautiful Anck Su Namun (Patricia Velasquez):

I love that people are actually guessing :joy:

Its not supposed to be obvious (as I say, it wasn’t a likeness study), and the hair is specific to the character from my book, not the reference I used

The Mummy has the best looking cast in the history of cinema!

I’ve re-done Kara recently (for the 9000th time), and I have done most of the other main cast members from the first book already

Though, most of them will be getting new versions in the future!

I haven’t met some of them yet, but Marcus and Jim are very similar to how I imagined them.

It looks fantastic!
All the attention to detail really brings the whole thing together.

My guess is Gwyneth Paltrow

Very nice improvement over the first version.

Looks great! Did you use the curve hair nodes to make the hair? That is what I am trying to learn now.

No, sorry. I’m a dinosaur that still uses the old hair system, I’m afraid.
