very nice, some things to do, on the materials for the wood, make it repeat 2x so that its not all pixelated, cuase we all kno real wood isnt pixelated, lol, also, in the render options, turn on OSA, and set it to 16. then press A until everything is selected, then in the edit options, press SETSMOOTH. also, maybe change the drink color to something like alchohol, and make it more transparent!

And put in a spotlight for shadows. (And when wanting to render the turn on the Shadow button from Display Buttons)

Tab out of edit and duplicate your straw and move it slightly left, the delete the verts just about the liquid level. Now select the original straw and delete the verts just below the liquid level. Instant refraction.

This is the finished forum, so I guess not…
Thanks for your comments, all. I thought it was done… though not perfect it’s alright for just an hours work. I’m not counting the additional time I tried to put a crease in the cherries… but came out looking pretty obcene so I ended up not keeping it.
In answer to your questions- It’s a Pina Colada (I like it with cherries) Regarding why the picture isn’t as good as it could be, the answer is simple- I was drinking & drawing Hey I needed a model.
I believe it is a White Russian.
