I just found this program, and haven’t had time to play with it, but has anyone checked out MetaSequoia? Is it worth tinkering with?
I don’t know… but add anim8or to the list of other programs that don’t look as cool as blender but might be fun…
Anim8or does have some good animation features.
Pity it has a poor rendering engine, that cannot even render shadows!

Only problem with MetaSequoia is this disclaimer on the authors website:
“But I sell Metasequoia in Japan only now because it is difficult to receive money from foreign countries, so you cannot register if you
aren’t in Japan, sorry.”

Metasequoia is most popular modeller in japan.
It is used amature and professional users, and many Blender users too.
