I created these VR [They are stereo images, NOT mono, so looks realistic through actual VR glasses]
and I have no idea how to do that in Blender, after looking through a couple of tutorials I drop it into steps like these:
1: Set Camera to Panoramic->Type Equirectangular.
2: Go to Render Layers->Check the “Views” checkbox [default will be Stereo 3D].
3: Set Resolution to 2:1 [1920:960 for example].
4: Set Output to Stereo 3D Stereo Mode: Top-Bottom.
and it still doesn’t work, am I missing anything still ?
I have done this before so it’s not like I can’t do it, it’s just that I can’t do it in Blender, can anyone help ?
The output stacking only seems to work on saving to a file, so the render preview will not show the top bottom stack. once saved, it should be correct.
Also, make sure you enable ‘spherical stereo’ on your camera.
I have managed to get it to work without checking the Spherical Stereo checkbox.
To anyone watching, remember to save as Stereo 3D, that’s the key.
Setting Camera to Panoramic->Type Equirectangular is enough.
BUT I also try checking AND unchecking the Spherical Stereo checkbox, both looks ok in VR Gear but just slightly different.
Which one is more accurate to human eye condition ? to check the Spherical Stereo checkbox or not ? Thanks. What does it do ?
