I used Enlightenment E17 for about a year, then erased everything, updated everything, and decided to go with Openbox, its alot faster, but not as pretty.
Is E dead in some way? I mean, there hasn’t been a proper release in years, and the user community doesn’t seems to be big at all. WHen I installed E17 a week ago, I was hoping to see tons of themes and animated wallpapers available for download.
I don’t think so. The last time I checked they were years developing the E16, and suddenly they announce it last year I think and the website news tell about this said sorry for the delay. FOSS is unpredictable, really.
