ANZAC Day 2016 Tribute

I don’t usually post here but I decided to share anyway.

This is my tribute for ANZAC day this year, for those who don’t know ANZAC day - 25th April - is a national day of remembrance across Australia and New Zealand. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the first world war. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and the Poppy as used by many countries in similar occasions symbolizes remembrance and the sacrifice made.

Lest We Forget

As for the art side of things…

The scene was rendered at a resolution of 2160x3840 with 700 samples.

Background and lighting was made using pro lighting studio with a few tweaks. (Great plugin btw, saved me about two hours of work.)

Textures are mostly from Textures.com and have been modified in Photoshop.

All post work was done in blender with the exception of the signature which was done with Photoshop.

Comments and constructive criticism is of course welcome, Hope you enjoy.
