Apartment building - Archviz

Hello!

An exterior shot of a small apartment building with overpass. It’s a commercial project. Rendered with cycles at 800 samples and denoised an image. Grass was made using a Scatter addon. Feel free to comment and ask about details if you like! Enjoy guys!

I didnt tweak your presets in any way or form. It is a simple two mouse click grass… and it is absolutely awesome! Your addon is great and I can recommend it to everyone interested in an architecture visualization field! Saves a lot of time and looks awesome!

Really nice, this is the level of best archviz made with paid-software  One thing that looks little bit off is the same rock facing towards to viewer.

What denoiser you’ve used? Standard, Intel or Optix? I’ve got problems with Optix because it’s not supporting yet bevel shaders and AO; Intel has problems with noisy bumps so it’s problematic with materials like plaster. Also, the backplate is just high resolution HDR I guess?

Can i ask you some question in PM ?

Thank you!

You are right about rocks I should change that but I love that model! I used a standard blender denoiser at 20 px radius at 0.2 strength. I heard about Optix but i have never actually used it. Would you recommend it still if it has some difficulties you’ve mentioned?

Pozdrówki

Thank you!

Of course, you can ask me anything!

It’s better to wait for RC of 2.83, right now it has Optix viewport denoising and probably it will support shader raytracing for AO and bevel.

Would you mind revealing, in one post eg. right below the image, some more details, postprocess. ?
And…last but not least: where it is supposed to be located/investor/contractor? if not classified…??

I think i saw this on bd3d twitter and really loved the image.

Reusing is never bad and lots of people use this technique. Focus is not make it repetitive. SO scale, rotate, squash and stretch as or as you can. This was a bit obvious indeed

I will post some breakdown tomorrow cos I don’t have access to my PC right now

Contractor was an architect from Bydgoszcz and the project is located also in Bydgoszcz on Toruńska Street. If you are interested about more specific details feel free to PM me.

Yes that’s correct!

I usually try to present little stories in my archviz projects. I think details like that add some deeper value to images and could potentially distinguish the project more to the audience.

Problem is that usually contractors find them little funny
