References are must. For example my work table is terrible mess. But when I try to draw / model something messy like that, just from memory - imagination, I usually check references on internet. Weird, but this is my experience. People with many year of experience in just archviz have big mental library, but even they search for inspiration on google images.
btw, check your proportions with human figure in real scale. And try to imagine what you will put on empty spaces… Rug on floor, some pictures on walls… figurine, souvenirs on shelves… Again references are gold. Because you can find solutions from people which are experts in interior design.
I thought i counldn’t be the only one that found the second floor rail sketchy.
I totally find it sketchy too! I know it’s way too low !
