API question: get transl. rotat. and orient. of a mesh

Hi,

Is there any way to get the transl. rotat. and orient. of a mesh between to (key) frames?

The ides is to develop a script to export animation to vrml 2.0 format without using the coordinateinterpolator but translation-, rotation-, orientationinterpolator.

Just use the orientation matrix of the object.
Moreover, this includes parenting transformation and constraints.

How do I get the orientation matrix - getMatrix() (class object)? Or whre do I have to look in the API docu?

Yup, getMatrix is what you want.
