I made it a couple of months back but I’m just now beginning to post on the forums. I am open to constructive crtisism.

I think the lighting is beautiful

I agree with Vicky, this is a beautiful render.
Could I ask how did you set up lighting? Is it a single area light outside the window, or something else?
Cheers!

Nice…for me maybe only sofa is litle weird…i meant those suport for me are a litle bit to high…and from this angle i think is too wide…I hope you can understand my english…
Otherwise very good work…and me to would like to see how the lightining is done…
Keep it up…

For the lighting I used three methods: Global illumination/eviroment lighting, mesh lighting using a plane and for the shadows i used a sun lamp. To get the full effect of the eviroment lighting i set the world color to white and deleted the back face of the room to allow more light in. For the plane i rotated it about 45 degrees, raised it up directly outside the window, and added an emission color of a blue gray and set the value to 50. For the sun lamp i rotated it about 35 degrees on the Y axsis and a little bit on the Z, I set the color to a blue gray and set the size to .005 to get the sharp shadows. I then composited the vignette along with some color balance to bring more of the blue out. Glad you liked the scene! (sorry I dont have screenshots)

Nice lighting, looks pretty realistic.

Wall i agree the lighting is really good. the over all style of the room is also parity slick ;D

If i had one criticism to add it’s that the curtains Need a rod to be holding them. but that’s a miner detail. the over all look of the seen is really nice.

Thanks for sharing:’)

Stunning work! Very well done!

Really nice. It would be nice to see this scene with artifical light.
