Append entire Skeletal Mesh?

Hi there, I was wondering if you can append entire Skeletal meshes (meshes with armatures) to other projects. For example, if I made two characters with the body and clothes separate, weighted to an armature, can I get both of them into one file with something as simple as “append?” If not, is there a way to achieve this?

Shouldnt be an issue really. Easiest if you put them in their own collection in the source file and then append from that. Personally, I always just open my other file, select what I want, copy it, and paste it to my new file.

I didn’t know you could copy paste across files. So you can append entire collections as well?

Yes indeed! You’ll see it in file browser when you’ve opened a .blend to append.
