That if you live in California and you have purchased the MicroSoft products that are listed on the linked to page during the listed times you were probably over charged and are eligible for a partial refund.
If you don’t live in California it’s a moot point.
Microsoft agreed to a settlement with California consumers and businesses to resolve a class action suit that alleged it overcharged for its products. The value of the settlement is $1.1 billion.
