# Apply scale to bezier circle  modifies shape

Hello,

I thought apply scale would not alter the appearance of the object. Maybe I got something wrong here or I found a bug (2.65a). I have a bezier circle; when I apply the scale (Ctrl-A, scale), the object will look different.

I attach the blend file and a screenshot. Please note, that I changed the Scene Units to be Metric with a Scale of 0.01.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong / Can anybody reproduce this behaviour? Any comments and hints are highly appreciated.

Select all the handles and set the handle type to Free before applying scale. Do this either from the options in the Toolshelf or shortcut V
