Apply-Scale withouth breaking particles

Is there a way to apply-scale to a character who has already been groomed without messing up the particles size? * I’ve already tried "disconnect and connect hair ", it didn’t work. Thanks

Hair-length is independent of object scale so you can’t really mess with the object scale after grooming… all scale-applying needs to be done before grooming.

To scale a character that’s already been groomed, add an empty to the scene and make that the parent of the character then scale the empty. (Can use an armature instead of an empty and scale the armature in object-mode and the hair will scale also).
