Applying PBR material parts of the brass object/spoon looks wring


It is part for my blender study homework. I probably should first tell how I made the spoon. Cut the sphere in half resize and remodel. Extrude handle from the plane resize and remodel.

Then I brought PBR material and done some basic node work. As you can see back of the spoon scoop part looks fine while the handle material looks stretched so the inside of the scoop. Where did I miss the trick? Scaling!

You could either UV the spoon or you could try switching the mapping method from flat/sphere to box in the texture nodes and add some blending.

I found the way to solve the issue by adding texture coordinate nodes!
