This is a 3D model of a human bust with decorative headpieces, created for an AR effect that won a spot in the top 10 at Meta’s global Cyberware Challenge. The design makes the bust look like it’s made of water, with rippling waves on the surface and fish swimming inside.
The headpiece features intricate details, including a crown-like design that frames the top of the head.
I also created this 3D animation.
The Aqua Punk AR effect won a spot in the top 10 at the global Cyberware Challenge organized by Meta and was even featured on the announcement page for the winners.
I also created additional variations of this AR effect, each tailored for unique use cases. One variation was featured at the Accenture Baltics booth during the Login Conference in Vilnius, where it was used to showcase the possibilities of AR in a professional and creative setting.
Another version of the effect I presented at the Exthereal Conference on Fashion in Extended Reality in Finland. During my presentation, I showcased how AR can merge immersive technology with fashion, using this design to explore new possibilities for storytelling and creative expression.
