After my last few projects ran into dead-ends, here’s the next one But now I’m going to post stuff again in the hopes of keeping me motivated to finish it.
So here we go, from the very start. I’m going to attempt to create a “realistic” version of Arcanine, one of my favourite childhood pokemon. I love playing with making cartoony creatures realistic, it’s quite interesting and really does make you think about how some stuff would have to work.
This will be an exercise in sculpting and using hair particles mostly. And to test what my new pc can manage
First step: a base mesh which I’ll later start scultping.
I’ve simplified the hind legs because the model won’t be animated and there will be a lot of hair on that spot hiding the skin anyway. Sculpting will have to take care of the details.
Please let me know what you think. Don’t go easy on me, feelf ree to share any criticisme or advice you can think of!
