Hello :),
This is my latest project for my AS Level art book.
Thoughts??
C&C welcome
cool, looking good.
My suggestion would be to maybe rethink the blue coasters; do they fit your color palette? Also, what kind of story are you telling with this shot, who are the people that occupy this place? It looks like they’ve made a very simple, clean, minimalist space using earth tones and simple materials with the chairs as the focal point. The high saturated blue coasters just don’t seem to fit the aesthetic; I would expect maybe simple glass, wood, or stainless steel to match the already present theme. Just my thoughts.
What puzzled my mind in a 20 secs look:
The table:
The lamp:
Armchair:
The baseboard:
The whole scene:

Thanks,
Looking at it now, I agree. I shall change them to something that fits with the colour pallet.
What puzzled my mind in a 20 secs look:
The table:
- The godzilla reflections wash out the texture
- R U sure the texture is mapped correctly? Think as if you were a carpenter, how would you cut the wood?
- Lightblue Coasters on a total warm look scene? Very Sci-fi. They should be dark red/brown
The lamp:
- It’s enlighting only the arm of the person who sits on the armchair, surely not the book as it’s supposed to be.
Armchair:
- The wooden part is crooked in some points, for example the curves on the arms. If you wanna create thin details, make you sure to create them after you set the main shape.
- The wood itself is cut in a strange way (see the issue on the table)
- The leather shader is ok, but the “texture color” should be “worn-out” expecially on the point of tractions, not randomly (not a very issue though).
The baseboard:
- It looks like a monoblock. I understand that you’ve found a patient worker that even smoothed angles (you lucky), but it’s very very difficoult to create custom monoblock pieces with no joints at all like these.
The whole scene:
- The entire scene is empty. It says nothing, it looks like a cheap furniture store.
Thanks for the feedback.
I will take into account what you have said.
yeah right I’m sure ya’ll do.
Forgot to mention the fkin simmetry and object duplications.
Nothing is so simmetrical in RL and copy/paste of things is not possible.
Add some variations moving around at least texture maps.

Thanks, I shall.
