How did you achieve the painted styling? did you use the compositor? or some external software?

Very nice and creative. It’s been a while I’ve seen classic surrealism.
The only crit I have is that the colors are a bit muted.I did a 3strip LUT color adjustment in photoshop and the colors made it look more like waterpainting:
