Nice renders, remember next time the tip from the real world: more distance between the shadow source and the shadow (from leaves to ground), the more blurrier shadows are.
Sun also. Look in real life for example a tree trunk shadow, 1cm distance from the tree the shadow is sharp as a knife, 10m distance the shadow is blurred as clouds.

looks nice, very impressive amount of geometry, I am also curious on how much resources you needed to render this.
dns_di, Kemmler, scene used 16.7 gigs of RAM
my system is FX-8320, 32 GB RAM, 3xGTX 770 4GB
rendertime is about 2 hours per frame on CPU (512 samples)
