Are the shadows in eevee rendered display mode momentary deactivared?

Cause i didnt see any. I have a sun in my scene with activated shadows, did i miss something?

It seems eevee doesnt correlate with the blender unit setup. After importing a character mesh the scale was way to big, so i adjusted the unit setup to fix the problem. Like you would do in max or maya, then the renderer adjusts to the new unit setup accordingly. Eevee does not it seems. So for good shadow results its best to stay in the default unit setup (at least at the moment). I hope that get fixed.
