Are there any ways to make texture overlay (moving texture) repeat animation and noise on the model?

Does everyone know the answer? I’m a beginner.

I love making different art styles in a blender. I’d like to try to have the model character’s moving texture like “Norman Rockwell’s Doctor and Doll” from https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xJe3yX (Animated by Jorge Bompart) ----please check for animated only.

Can you Please demonstrate and make sure you add a picture/gif explanation to help me better understand and show how you make it so I can comprehend how to make it by myself.

I’ve watched your linked video and to be honest I’m not really sure what you’re looking for. I didn’t see anything in the video other than very simple mesh deformations, most likely from armatures

I think he wants a old, movie projector effect. Similar to white & black movies back in the 1900s.

You could experiment with animated textures, where you have a folder with a numbered set of images with different textures or add animated noise to the texture coordinates.

when working with texture sequences, it is important to set Frames to 1 and then animate the Offset with keyframes or drivers
