Armature Classification

I noticed a new button in the edit window for armatures. It’s the classification setting, default of “Skinnable”. I checked the Blender documentation but couldn’t find anything. Does this do anything important?

The only two useable settings right now are Skinnable and Unskinnable. It determines whether or not it will automaticly create vertex groups when using one of the two auto option when parenting.

Ok, thanks. That’ll help out with preventing the null/IK bones in my skeleton from getting vertecies attached to them. What will the other settings do, when they work?

they will define some advance stuff with Skinterlaas. Now, don`t ask me how that will work, I’m as clueless as you are.
