Armature Inverse IK only does it work?

Ok I know how to setp up Ik with an empty and amatures.

But when it’s time to animate in the NLA I have a millon or so colums.

Arrrhggg

But Arature can have action strips in the NLA and only needs one simple colum.

So I am asking if armatures can have an IK inverse setup with out the need for emptys.

You can use bones from within the same armature as the targets and controls in place of the empties… makes it a cleaner setup also because its only one object. Just make sure you check your control bones and clear out any parent bones they may have that you don’t want… but other than that your set… you just specify the armature object name and then the bone name.

Please tell me how . I am at a loss . The names won’t change for each armature
