Just a quick question, not entirely game related but it’s for a game, I have an armature that has been broken into two parts, does blender have a tool for armatures like the remove doubles one for meshs, that i can use to join the two armature segments?
but you can alway set multiples bones to be child of another bone (within the same armature mesh).
Join two armatures: object mode <ctrl><j>
Change the parent of a bone:
- Edit mode: Editing <F9> buttons, Armature Bones panel
- select the parent bone in the combo box child of right of the bone name.
To move the bone head to the parents tail, enable the little button Co right beside the child of combobox. Attention: The old head location gets lost!
