Armature + Lattice

Is it possible for a mesh to be deformed by an armature and, on top of that, by a lattice?
That would be useful to control the volume of a bending elbow (for it not to become too thin).

No. An object can only have one parent, but a parent can have multiple children.
There are many ways to control deformation of a joint…I see that you are new here. I don’t know where to begin.
You can read through the character animation forum to get some ideas…I would like to give you a more complex answer, but considering
the numerous methods that can be used (rvk, mesh construct,extra bones parented to armature), you may want to take some time and read through the forums.
