Armature on mirrored object?

I’m having trouble getting an armature to work on a mirrored object. The armature seems to apply only on one of the halves. Is it possible to make an armature use the mirred half too?

Move the Armature modifier above the Mirror modifier. (hit the little up arrow in the modifier box)

I’d leave the mirror modifier first. To mirror vertex groups they need a name that signifies left or right. Leg.L and Leg.R for istance… … oh and then name the bones in your armature accordingly.
