I am having a problem with armatures in the game engine, I have created an animation walk cycle(not that good). put logic to it, specifically a keyboard sensor, an and controller, and an action actuator set from frame 1-21(how long my animation lasts). when I press “p” the animation goes back to what it looked like in edit mode. Nothing happens when I press my chosen key either.
If anyone understands what I mean and has ever had the same problem, a solution would be greatly appreciated.
A blend file would be helpful. Here’s some suggestions though:
Make sure the animation actuator is on the armature.
Check the animation actuator, it probably says ‘Play’. See if changing it to ‘Loop End’ makes a difference.
Check the keyboard sensor, turning on pulse mode might help (Left " button).
Sorry if this doesn’t help much.
Hello
ENVELOPES DON’T WORK IN THE GAME ENGINE!
Sorry, if it looks rude, but maybe other people will read this post and get it!
Well, you must assign Vertex Groups to your character!
As your Armature have 52? bones, it’ll be hard/boring/tedious
Are you sure that you need all these bones…and all those Action keys?!
You already have Vertex Groups created, so select one Group name ( lower.l), select the desired vertices ( ex: the left arm ones) and press the “Assign” button, and so on…
Unfortunately the “Parent to Armature/Create Groups from Bone Heat” don’t work in your Model??
Be brave!
Bye
