i have worked out how blenders ik system works, pretty nice.
but weights are still an unknown matter for me.
weight painting often does NOT work or only can add but cannot remove
weight information.
also when you create the vertex groups and when you are inside the bone edit mode a chnage of the weight or distance information does not work in any way.
in c4d you have also a instruction for the deformation influsence which goes away from the bone and fades away slowly.
sad i found no tut on discribing how muscle deformations are working in blender. anybody has an answer for me?

weight painting mixes the current weight with the one you are painting, so if you set the Weight button to a lower value (like 0.300 or lower), you will effectivly decrease the weight.

Those parameters only affect the deformation if the mesh doesn’t have any vertex groups.
well as a free app blender is realy fine. ok some features you have in lightwave and c4d or eiu kick as more but well they cost also more.
the weight painting and the subdiv surface and general modeling tools could use some enhancement but wow blender is awesome powerfull as a open source software.
i ask myself why not somany people use python for enhanced modeling tools. well amapi for example just mh blows away blender but pyhton could just be used to create so many custom tools. sweet.
well with a good export import system all works as well.
