Actually, I want to say thank you to the developers. Haven’t been here for a long time, and I just tried rigging a model in blender, something that I always strugled with in the old versions. But now, just whoa. Simple armature, simple automatic weight binding and the results are nearly perfect right away even though the mesh isn’t low resolution. I didn’t need to touch anything to get this:
And IK was also easy, really really easy (except spline curves, but I’ll get around that later).
Then I made a bit more complicated armature for muscle deformation and wow, again, 1 click and it deforms perfectly (the only problem it has is my fault for not modelling the lower arm at the right angle).
