ok, the thing is, i’m a noobie at 3d modelling. but this is something i haven’t really found out how to do it:
i made a grass-blade (twice extruded deformated circle surface) and i wanted to animate it using armatures. i made the armatures, but pressing P didn’t link them, but just said that the game engine in this release is disabled …next pressing ctrl+tab should put me into pose mode, but all it does is switch the desktop (KDE) …is there a button for switching to pose mode …i know there’s one for edit mode.
but my blender (2.28) segfaults trying to create groups from closest bones …and i don’t really know how to make them by hand …the tutorial i’m using doesn’t cover that (v2.27 and later)
i know …but i already use the Meta option …on my slovene keyboard i have to make use of the AltGr key to make special characters (like: {}@§|€÷פß~^°`) …and AFAIR it’s done so AltGr (=right alt) works as the Meta key :]
…but i don’t mind the clicking on the icon that much …the thing that really bothers me is the segfaulting …and the old elysiun tutorial on manual parenting is “a bit” outdated or not really thought over …i can’t find a few options, because the picture is cut where the section should be shown …and the layout is a bit different then it was in those days
p.s. blender-2.28 compiled from source via portage/ebuilds …no cause for segfault listed
