Hello everyone, I googled this issue everywhere and couldnt find the answer so im writting here, hope someone can help.
I wanted to make like an IMM brush from zbrush in blender, and I found out the array curve modifier with cap start and cap end to be the perfect solution.
However it is not possible to include multiple curves in these modifiers / And if you merge several curves, it only apply the Array on the last created one
So does anyone have an Idea on how to apply this effect to multiple curves at once ?
Here is an exemple: I try to apply this Snake on multiples curves.
The only alternative solution I can think about: Duplicate body of snake, apply the same modifiers, pick a new curve, and repeat. But it will flood my outliner for nothing if want plenty of those.
You can link the curves together to copy the modifiers:
Use the shortcut Ctrl + L (Link/Transfer data) to copy all modifiers from one object to another.
Thank you for your fast reply,
However, the modifiers array + curve to make this effect are on the mesh: Snake_body
and not on the curves. So the Ctrl+L solution doesnt work
Check the effect here, it takes only 30sec, i want to apply this on mutliple curves at once
Ah I see what you mean. In that case, I think your alternate solution will work best- however, I would recommend instancing, not duplicating, mesh. You can do this with Alt+D. This will preserve the modifiers, saving you a few steps, and use much less memory
I wanted to avoid this solution as I may have to do this like 40-50 times or even more.
Looks weird to not be able to apply this to all the curve at once, there must be a solution
