Array following path without distorting mesh

Hi, the title says it all, i’m making a bullet belt and i managed to do an array along a bezier, but the thing is that the path distorts the duplications of the array whenever there’s a curvature.

Ah, this is a prop for a scene in unity, i don’t know how relevant can this be.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix that?

Check out DupliFrames on the Duplication section of the Object properties tab.
Make the curve the parent of the cartridge mesh. Activate DupliFrames on the mesh, and tweak the settings to get the desired spacing. You also have additional control on the curve object in the properties panel.

Thanks, i think this will do!

Isn’t dupliframes and stuff removed from 2.8? How would one do this in 2.8?
