Array into seperate objects?

When i make a cube and use an array modifier on it. All the cubes are forming one object. Is there a way that u can make seperate objects instead off one containing all those cubes. It would be nice to use the object random info node to color them seperatly but they need to be seperate objects to work.

An array modifier is preferred instead of manually making duplicates of that cube.

Apply your material first, then:

In Object mode, apply the Array modifier.
Go into Edit Mode, select all. [P] Separate --> By loose parts.
Back into Object Mode. All the objects should already be selected.
[SHIFT CTRL ALT C] Set Origin --> Origin to Geometry. (Try not to break yourself a finger with this shortcut!)
