for some reason the array modifier doesnt want to work… I try to use it but instead of just offsetting on the x its offsetting up too… Also in the picture shown the Y axis goes from left to right… So I need to use the X offset to get to along y axis? because y send directly back to where you cant see it. I’m also watching tutorials on this now but I never had any problems with it in 2.49
How was tread made? Have you checked its axis? There must be some mismatch there.
The tread I extruded but if I offset on the y it should go down the y axis correct?
Only if the Y axis of your geometry is aligned correctly, that’s what ridix was trying to get at. Turn on the display for the object axes and see if it matches the world axes (as a reference). If it doesn’t, then you will have to apply the rotation to the object in edit mode so the axes are aligned in the correct orientation.
